Product Description
The Kite pendant light was designed by Panter & Tourron. It is a work of proportion and abstraction, combining clean and geometric silhouettes with smooth, textured materiality. The same structural elements are adapted into three different sizes, each echoing the other like a tale that alters subtly with each retelling. Delicate taping (black or white) contours the silhouettes, a technical refinement that enriches depth and contrast. Kite pendant lights are made from folded sheets of Tyvek (a material that is both strong and soft – 100% recyclable), glued to polyethylene sheets for added rigidity. The metal parts of the lamp and the cable are black.
Kite alone or in compositions creates an effect with intense and bright sculptural references.
