Christophe de la Fontaine was born in 1976 in Luxembourg where he graduated the Lycee des Arts et Metiers in sculpture. From 1996 - 2002 he studied industrial design under Richard Sapper, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. After a journey in London, Milan and Munich, he took over from 2003-2009 the design department at the studio of Patrizca Urquiola. Besides that, he worked independently and participated to numerous exhibitions in art and design. In 2010 he opened his own design office in Milan. Among his clients are Moroso Rosenthal and Formagenda.
