ABOUT Bernhard Osann
Bernhard Osann is a German designer who studied at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. He has been running his design studio since 2014 in Hamburg, where he mainly designs lighting and furniture.
Before becoming a designer, Bernhard Osann apprenticed as a carpenter and studied sculpture, which influenced his basic design principles.
He plays with physical laws and geometric shapes to find new unconventional solutions to simplify objects. The result is minimalist and dynamic constructions that move, inviting you to move and interact with space.
During the design process, the function and productivity of objects are always at the centre of attention.
