Andrea Anastasio is an Italian designer and philosopher who has always been inspired by different cultures. After studying philosophy in Venice, Anastasio undertook a research trip to India where he spent 11 years of his life. On this journey, he gathered a wealth of experience in the fields of art, music, theology and theatre, which was later incorporated into his design in an abstract form.
Anastasio was also part of the Memphis group, a team of Italian designers and architects who came up with ground-breaking products in the 80's that did not follow conventional notions of shapes, colours, textures and patterns.

Fascinated by different cultures and with an interest for industrial design, Andrea Anastasio creates furniture and lamps for prestigious and internationally-recognised manufacturers.
